Camp Refund Policy

In order to be eligible for a full refund of the camp fee, minus the applicable cancellation fee (see below for more details), all cancellations must be submitted via email to hammondhillcamp@rethinkexperience.ca and received by our Director at least 4 weeks before the camp's scheduled start date. For instance, if a camp is scheduled to commence on August 5th and the cancellation is reported on July 8th, a complete refund will be issued with the deduction of the cancellation fee.

In the event of a cancellation submitted with less than a 4-week notice before the camp's commencement, we will make an effort to fill your child's spot. If we are successful in doing so, a 50% credit will be added to your account for use in future camps.

However, if we are unable to fill your child's spot or if we receive a cancellation with less than 1 week's notice before the camp is scheduled to start, regrettably, no refund will be issued.

Cancellation Fee

All cancellations made BEFORE May 1, 2024 will be subject to a $10 per week cancellation fee. 

All cancellations made on or AFTER May 1, 2024 will be subject to a $20 per week cancellation fee.

All cancellations made on or AFTER June 21, 2024 will be subject to a $40 per week cancellation fee.

This fee is intended to offset the costs associated with credit card processing and the effort required to process the cancellation.


Absence Policy: 

Once camp begins, no refund or credits will be given for any incidental absences or missed days. However, in the event that a camper is required to stay home from camp due to sickness, if a Medical Note is provided, the following policy will be applied:

a. First 2 days of Absence: Camp fees- Non refundable.

b. Additional days absent (3 or more): Choose credit of 100% of prorated daily fee or refund 50% of prorated daily fee.
