What sets our market apart? It's meticulously designed and shaped by vendors, for vendors and is situated on a picturesque 2-acre expanse of Hammond Hill. Every detail caters to the vendor experience, from convenient parking by tents for effortless loading and unloading to a levelled and compacted area, adorned with crushed stone and accessibility, including a 30’ x 80’ enclosed indoor tent space. Outdoor vendors will have the benefit of 12 ft x 12 ft spaces, while indoor vendors will enjoy 8ft x 8ft or more, customized based on demand.
The market operates from 10 am to 2 pm every second Saturday from the end of May to the end of September, with special markets like Night and Fall Markets adding variety.
Initial participation will range from 20 to 30 vendors, each contributing to the vibrant atmosphere. With a sprawling 62 acre expanse at Hammond Hill, we have ample room for expansion, welcoming and accommodating over 200 vendors as we grow.
Membership includes a small yearly fee, offering vendors flexible packages for occasional or regular participation. For a unique experience, vendors can opt for the Stay & Sell package, allowing guests to wake up at Hammond Hill and stroll over to the market!
Signage strategically placed at Hammond Golf and Clarence-Rockland surroundings as well as social media presence, Ottawa Tourism website display and multiple newsletters ensures the Market's visibility, attracting patrons.
The Hammond Hill Market distinguishes itself by also allowing park guests to actively support vendors, guaranteeing a vibrant atmosphere. Anticipating 20-25 tiny homes, 3 Mongolian Yurts, and 20 campsites for up to 250 people this year, our setup is unparalleled. Adjacent to the Broken Stick Brewing Company and Hammond Golf course for pre and post-round enjoyment and the on-site restaurant featuring savory wood-fired pizza and an exceptional menu catering to various tastes, our market offers an exclusive experience.
